I was traveling back home through Iowa when my van broke down on a weekend and stranded me. Monday am , I called and they towed my van in and began looking at it right away and searching for parts (1999 Dodge Ram conversion). Two other repair shops were booked and couldn't get to me until mid-week. One never even called back. An extended hotel bill on top of repairs was going to be a challenge. Car,Truck & Van called me and said he had located the parts (wheel spindle,bearing) and most likely have it done that day! I was amazed at their promptness in fixing my vehicle, as normally with repair shops you have to wait days just to get in on short notice. My van was fixed Monday and knowing we were stranded at the hotel, he even offered to bring the vehicle to me. Very reasonable, affordable, great communication, explained exactly what had broken, can't say enough about these folks...I'd read the other reviews while searching for mechanics, as I did not know anyone in Davenport. I can see why the reviews are good...they were a life saver in my stressful time.
Zero stars if they'd let me! Had my car in for a simple alignment but my mistake was probably using a 50% off coupon so all they did was pull it in if that. The vehicle pulled to the left when I arrived and pulled to the left exactly the same when I picked it up! Genius! Took it to Firestone in Davenport the next day and they did the job right the first time! Do not trust these people! Of course they said bring it back we'll look at it! Why? You screwed up the first time why would I bring it back. Keep in mind most of the good reviews are people they know!
have been going to CTV since the very beginning. nicest people you could meet and the best mechanics there are. tammy is great about letting customers know what needs to be done so there are never any surprises. I consider everyone that works there a friend!!
