Very nice public park for a stroll, lovely trees, and excellent seasonal gardens. Nice little gift shop in the greenhouse, with small seasonal displays year round, and a small mature tropical display. Nice park for the community and so well maintained. Pond for ducks and geese, and ice skating. An old and beautiful Davenport asset.
Very cool Park! Right in the middle of Davenport. Lots of room to walk and lots of flowers in the summer.
The Conservatory is wonderful, and open Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 4pm. With over 100 years experience they have rotating displays, with Poinsettias in Winter, Spring Azaleas, Summer tropicals, and Fall Chrysanthemum Festival. There is the Grand Allee leading to the Stone Fountain, the Lagoon, and a variety of gardens (Rose, Hosta, Old World).
I love the neighborhood. The park is a safe place to bring your kids & pets.
It is absolutely beautiful here! The flowers,plants and trees are a must see and i think the #1 attraction us the fountain that lights up at nite! Its peaceful enough to take a book and read in one if the benches or take a blanket and read on the grass! Its ideal for anyone from 8 months to 80yrs old!! I love it!
