They have 4 shelters to rent that is reasonable, no electricity. We used a generator. Huge playground. Clean bathroom.
Was there for a party had rented the shelter and thank god no fights while they did not put my paper saying that i rented it
When my brother and I were younger, we'd haul our slides up on top of the hills and sled down those hills until we moved to Kelling street in 1966. We always had such a fun time. The last time I was through Davenport was in 1986 when I was traveling through on my way to Cannon AFB in New Mexico, my final US Air Force assignment before retiring. I had plans to travel around now that I'm retired, but neuropathy prevents me from that.
Monthly family days are fun. Still has big goose but none of the old stuff is still there. Family days have crafts and petting zoo and more.
Nothing at all like it used to be. No animals at all. There's a big sandbox, a small playground, and some hands on musical displays. Again nothing like it used to be. Also quite a bit of garbage all over the place.
