The clerk did help me to find this battery at the Moline store - after an (unbelievable) 10 minute delay on the phone to reach the service desk.

In the last weeks I have had the automotive shop work on 2 of my car. I like how the at a shop work orders and payment is now done at the shop. They made waiting room nicer and even have coffee. Very professional. Now both my cars did not need what I thought and I was not charged for one and minimal for check up. They do not try to push extra things on the customer.
I had a pretty bad experience getting brake work done. Told me I needed rotors and mine couldnt be turned down. When I told him i wanted old ones in my backseat they were nowhere to be found offered a $25 gift card. A Prius w 55k miles should only need pads, im sure he returned my $80 rotors.
When calling the store for pricing and availability, always ask a clerk to check the floor to be certain that your item is in stock - do not trust their computerized inventory.
I called the Davenport store this morning in search of a battery for my Honda. I provided the relevant details and was assured the item was in stock.
I had an unsatisfactory experience buying an automobile battery at Farm & Fleet today.
Once again, to stress, Farm & Fleet's inventory database was corrupt on this part. In the future, I will insist that anyone who speaks to me on the phone from these stores physically checks the floor for any item of interest to me, as the IT systems have proven untrustworthy. I suggest that everyone does the same.
When I arrived this evening, the clerk's database listed 6 total batteries of the desired type in stock, but could find none of them. Farm & Fleet's inventory database appeared corrupt for this item.
Good selection of winter wear and tools. Auto service is ok. A little high on some prices.
I arrived at Moline and asked for installation of this part, only to learn that there was no availability in the service department, and I would have to install the battery myself. I will have to research Youtube tonight for the procedure, which is most surprising and unwelcome.
