I love this store. I have had a good experience every time I've been in here with the exception of today. It is exceptionally clean and they offer a nice variety of organic produce, baked items, a juice bar and fresh sushi. I wish my young cashier with gauges in her ears hadn't scolded me in front of a line of other customers for not emptying my basket on the belt, she was clearly annoyed and then dumped everything out on the conveyor (including my apples I hand picked so they wouldn't be bruised) and went on to say how "next time if you could empty your basket it will go much faster". I wasn't feeling well so I kept my mouth shut to avoid a scene because I felt she was doing a good enough job of that while carrying on that she has short arms and apologizing to the gentlemen behind me for my ignorance. I am only posting this because while this wont keep me from coming back, that type of treatment might prevent someone else. She needs a lesson in customer service.
Their produce is beautiful and the fresh peanut butter is the best! They are a little overpriced.
If it weren't for the deli area, Fresh Thyme would definitely get 5 stars. It was super busy right after opening, which was frustrating but that doesn't seem to be as much of an issue anymore. The biggest issue I've encountered nearly every time I've visited the deli area, is that it seems so short-staffed. So short-staffed, that it took nearly half an hour to get 3 sandwiches, and 1 wasn't even made right (I ordered it exactly as it is on the sign). Unfortunately, I didn't figure that out until I ate it at home. That was pretty disappointing. Honestly, I don't know if it's necessarily a staff shortage, it was only me in line and one other guy after me. A positive demeanor would go a long way for this employee as well.
I love this Store!!! The produce is my favorite section then the deli ,meat and bakery. Most things are easy to find and the staff Is friendly and helpful. My experience was very good and I will go back, the prices were not bad and one had to eat...
