We are new to the area. I was referred to Kimberly Crest from a vet I saw once. He has pancreatic cancer and Dr. Bahn has been wonderful. However, I have two other dogs that have never been seen and they refuse to see them because of some paper we signed when our one was having tests. I explained to them. that the other two have not been seen here and I am in need of a vet. The front staff will not even give Dr. Bahn a message, nor will she call us back. Our one dog who has cancer is supposed to continue treatment with them but at this point they will not even talk to us. I am now sitting here with another one of my dogs who is very sick and the staff will absolutely not let us bring him in. I had the same vet for 14 years and I am appalled that this is the way a vet practice works. The vet I initially saw never even called to give us test results or to find out how my dog was doing. I do not have any loyalty to a vet like that. Just don't understand why Kimberly Crest is acting this way considering they are supposed to be compassionate and caring vets. The business mangager is the one who makes the decision of whether we can be seen there or not, Why is the business manager in charge of this and the vets have nothing to say? This kind of treatment makes me want to go back to the suburbs of Chicago where they know how to treat people.

The facilities & staff are fantastic and we've never had a problem with any appointments, billing, etc. Any time we've had a question they've been more than happy to answer, or get us in that day to check things out.
My cat had some traumatic vet experiences in Davenport. Two vets refused to see him without sedating him because of his anxiety and aggression he gets at the vet every time they sedated him I cried. Jessie the vet tech at Kimberly Crest told me to bring him in and they would not sedate him. Dr Bahns is INCREDIBLE with him even when he is growling and hissing she treats him with so much care. She said from the first visit she wanted to build a relationship with him. She is the cat whisperer! She goes above and beyond to make sure hes in the best health. Dr. Taylor performed an ultrasound on him today and he was also wonderful. Are you going to pay a little more for procedures here? Yes but trust me when I say you get what you pay for! I dont cry anymore when I go to the vet! :) I highly recommend this vet! Between my three cats I have been to about every vet in Davenport and nothing compares to the care you get here!
Her spaying went great with a minor infection that was addressed right away (pup' s fault, not the vet/staff). Her heal time was great and can barely even tell she had a surgery now.
As a referring vet, I am grateful to have a referral hospital that offers such high-quality medicine right here in the QCA. When I call to refer a sick pet, they make every effort to see that pet quickly, often moving their already busy schedule around. Additionally, their communication with case updates is excellent. I also sincerely appreciate that they make every attempt to return care to the primary vet. I see reviews expressing frustration with this policy, but they are a REFERRAL center for a reason. Please respect their policy and don't give them 1-star ratings without good reason.
Been there for over 1200 dollars of appts and when I called about an injury our puppy sustained, they refused even advice or to talk with me without a vet referral. Very rude also!!;
