The Western Grill night includes charcoal-grilled Rib Eye steak, rubbed BBQ pork ribs, rubbed BBQ brisket, smoked beef roast, pork loin, and multiple kinds of chicken.

It was great at first. But one night I was out late with family I hadn't seen in years and none of my keys were working (this seemed to be a reoccurring issue the whole five days and they kept fixing the issue saying they know the cards sometimes are stubborn, and that was okay). However, I got in late and the keys weren't working. So I went to the desk and told them the room I was in and the name it was under before they even asked anything. They then told me I would not get a key since I was not the room holder. My mom was. I asked them what they wanted me to do then at 2 am. They told me it was illegal for them to give me a key to my room. So, what if my mom booked it for me and I was staying by myself? What if my 14 year old brother asked them for a key because he was out late with family (hopefully not 2 am late)? Not give him a key? Let him sit outside? I provided them with my room number and my mother's name before they even asked and they still refused me a key to my room. First off, not illegal. Holiday Inns let me in my room, and the hotel had done it for me before, so why not then? The woman at the desk then gave me an attitude after telling me it was illegal and refused my key, then turned to someone else and asked them if she could help them. I was then forced to call my mom at 2 am in the morning to ask her to open the door. I walked away from the keys, left them on the counter, and tried to write a review on my phone (it wouldn't let me). How ridiculous, and I have never had an experience like that, even at 2 star hotels. They weren't the best, but still had better service and less attitude. I am in my mid 20's and it was the nicest hotel I had ever been in, but after that, nope. Never going back. Illegal is a nice excuse. I should have asked for the manager, but my mistake.

Typical casino atmosphere. Like the live entertainment in the round type setting. A little more seating and room to move would be better. Don't care for the smoking that's allowed but it also means you can vape so I deal with it. Bars need to be staffed better. Takes forever at some.of them when it's busy.

At $19 per person, the buffet is not inexpensive, but given that the food is excellent and your (non- alcohol) beverages and dessert are included, the value is still there compared to other restaurant choices.

What we particularly like about Robert's is that unlike many buffets, everything is very flavorful. The food is also kept hot and fresh.

We ate dinner at the casino's Robert's Buffet on a Thursday evening at 5 PM. Thursday's dinner theme is Western Grill. We like this so much that this is our third visit on a Thursday. We have eaten at the buffets of the area's other two casinos, and this is our favorite.

I can only share my review of the Saturday seafood buffet, because that's the only reason I visited. But, I have to say that it was absolutely amazing! There is so much to choose from! I was really impressed with the crab legs. They weren't overly salty and they were hot and fresh. I got a piece of prime rib that was done just the way I like it and very tender. I was so full I didn't even have room for dessert at the Gelato bar.

For those who prefer less red meat, there was breaded cod, grilled tilapia, coconut and non-peeled shrimp, lasagna, Chinese stir fry dishes, and numerous vegetarian options-- including a large salad bar.

Rhythm City Casino is a very good looking place. It is spotless so props to the cleaning crew! Most of the staff I encountered were very friendly with the exception of some of the supervisors in the table games department, who were a bit rude and off-putting. Everyone else including the dealers, slot staff, cocktail waitresses, and buffet employees were very nice. The buffet was very good with everything you would expect from a Midwest restaurant. The slots paid out like any other casino I have been in. One suggestion I would make would be to have a pitch blackjack game and different side games on the blackjack tables to differentiate the place from other Midwest casinos: the 21+3 bet is tired and kind of boring. The place seems honest as the camera people called down and refunded money to another person at the table when the dealer evidently made a mistake that I didn't notice. Overall the place is very nice and I will return when I pass through again.

Note: I think the Friday and Saturday buffets may be more expensive because crab legs are served. Additionally, I have never seen children there-- because it's a casino they MAY not be allowed.

The dessert selection is large and tasty, and includes some exotic choices like flan, Irish Cream bars, and about 12 flavors of a gelato-like ice cream.
