-We were five minutes late for our reservation and they gave our lane away. We had to play on a lane without the automatic scoring which wasn't too bad but it took some of the careless fun out of it. When a lane opened up we asked if we could switch and we were told but the VERY rude bartender there were reservations. This is fine but these people never showed up.. So you mean to tell me you give our lane away within 5 minutes but won't give anyone else's up?
Never going back for these reasons..
Pro - Nice atmosphere, friendly people, cool old style bowling
Says it should be open but it is closed. Only thing the hotel says is "ya sometimes they close early"...
-There must have been something going with this bartender that night because she was in a MOOD.. not only was she rude but I don't believe we were charged the right amount... I paid for 2 people and was told the games were $5 a game and shoes were $3 a game.. that's fine.. that would mean I would owe $26 for the bowling... My bill was $70 and I only ordered two pitchers of beer.. so you mean to tell me two pictures of beer are $22 each?
All I can say is I left there very unhappy and just felt screwed... Never going back
Cool vibe can get cramped when busy
We booked two lanes for an afternoon. We had about 25 people that included adults and children - and everyone had a great time. Even thought we had booked this event months in advance and many of the party was staying at the hotel they were a little understaffed in the front of the house. If you are a big group I would suggest that you have a few appetizers preordered so they can be ready when you arrive - the kitchen gets overwhelmed quickly. The martini's were good the food was ok.
Con - a little pricey and the cherry grant martini wasn't the best
