Do not let Taylor do your hair, she completely ruined my hair and my did not wash my color out thoroughly. It ended up all over the collar of Brand New Hawkeye Puffer Coat. Demanded a refund. Last place I would ever recommend.

I have been going to Five Star Salon Spa since it moved to the East Village location a number of years ago. I first went to them while living in Chicago and wanted to find a better place for my mother to have her hair and skin care done. They were the ONLY Spa that came up in the online searches at the time. After gifting her a full day at the salon and spa she continues to love their services. Since I am not in the QC full time I have seen many of their stylist's and esthetician's. They are constantly working to bring you the best service, and products to support your beauty efforts. Some of the stand-out people are Jeffrey, Dustin, Karla and Megan. This isn't Chicago but they rival many of the salons I tried while living there. If you are from out of town - they are a safe choice and if you need a new place - you will see some great service.
I can't say enough great things about 5 Star. I booked them for my wedding day. Jade did my make up and it was flawless. Chelsea did my hair and originally I had a different idea during our trial. When day of came I saw a stylist rocking a super cute style and asked if we could switch it up. She didn't hesitate and made me look gorgeous. Toni and Julia were great to work with as well. Thank you all that made my day and all my wedding party look like a bunch of Taylor Swift Squad members.
